Blue Ridge Mountains-based Drawn Bow is Drew and Cadyn Speziale. The project began as Drew's experimental, solo recording project and has blossomed into its current form: a duo featuring the haunting harmonium, percussion, and vocal harmonies of Cadyn and Drew's poignant lyricism and lush guitar work (with a tendency to descend into devastating drones).
Drew was the guitarist, vocalist, and visual artist of Circle Takes the Square. Forming nearly 25 years ago in Savannah, GA, Circle Takes the Square’s performances confounded the underground post-hardcore world with asymmetrical and elaborate compositions. Their debut full length "As The Roots Undo" employed all the possibilities one could use with the early stages of digital recording. Overlapping voices, sampled segues with barely a break of silence, has solidified their debut LP as a genre of its own.
Drawn Bow's "Visions and Visitations" (available on bandcamp) spans the recording process from 2022-2025 and was released late 2025. The album delivers a near hour-long journey in 8 parts. . In their own words, VISIONS & VISITATIONS is “an exploration of the lights and shadows.”
Jeff Zagers is an American experimental musician, singer, and songwriter based in the lowcountry. Zagers utilizes a palette of synthesizers, drum machines, guitars and saxophones on his debut LP "Still/Alive". What has preceded and followed, are a slew of minimalist reinterpretations of cover songs through the years, with a range of fidelity and candor. "Songs of Others" was released Dec 2025 and contains 32 tracks collected from 2002-2022. Zagers pulled back from performing solo around 2016, focusing on collaborations and technical abilities, and will be returning to form this fall.
